In a world where the rate of technological change is increasing rapidly, the need to ensure that aviation related equipment and systems are not rendered obsolete is a must.
Such an environment often demands regular upgrades to equipments and systems, complemented with technical expertise. This core aspect of the aviation industry has always been at the heart of the industry’s ability to deliver safe and sustainable aviation services.
This vital support service is mostly provided by the Ministry of Communication and Aviation’s (MCA) Technical Services Division, which constantly strives to ensure that the equipment and systems used by the Airport Management, Air Traffic Services and Aviation Security Services always keep up to date with and comply with international codes and standards and practices.
Annex 10 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention) is the key provision for the functions of the Division.
